From Amitabh Bachchan to Kapil Sharma, Priyanka Chopra, and Parineeti Chopra, celebrities have launched an awareness campaign on social media to sensitize the people about COVID 19.

Amitabh Bachchan posted a video on social media reciting a poem advising his fans to wash their hands frequently with soap. In a humorous way aimed at easing anxiety, he said the whole world is dreading and debating about coronavirus. Amid fear of being affected by corona, people are locking themselves at home and incurring losses. A lot of people are saying a lot of things about what to do and what not t.

“While one asks us to wash our hands with soap frequently, another says do not touch anyone. People are confused about what advice to follow to prevent the spread of the virus. Hence, it is better to follow everything they say and stay safe”, senior Bachchan said. His fans couldn’t agree more with him.

Our international star, Priyanka Chopra too posted on how the age-old tradition of joining hands together while greeting should be strictly followed to avoid any contact with the virus. She posted a picture of herself from an award function, where she was seen greeting her fans with a Namaste. Well, from Donald Trump to Prince Charles, everyone is taking Namaste seriously. Several videos and pictures of leaders from across the globe joining their hands instead of shaking hands are going viral.

The new star on the block, Karthik Aryan too took to social media to post a small video from the shooting sets, where everyone can be seen wearing masks. He captioned it: "Stay safe guys, can't stress enough."

Dabangg actress Sonakshi Sinha too suggested her fans on wearing masks and being careful. “As the world battles coronavirus, let's ensure we do not add to the pandemic by circulating unverified information. Be safe, take necessary precautions and also be responsible. Don't add to the panic. Last but not the least, try and make the most of the compulsory 'me' time!” she said

In fact, she also posted a picture of her in Holi colors and said she didn’t play Holi, her favorite festival as a precautionary measure.

People have quarantined themselves across the globe as a precautionary protocol. In fact, a lot of shoots and movie releases have been stalled to avoid the spread of the infection.

Akshay Kumar tweeted a letter about the delay in the release of his next film 'Sooryavanshi' by Rohit Shetty. Tarun Adarsh too informed the fans about deferring the release date of 'Fast and Furious 9' due to coronavirus.
