Botsa Satyanarayana calls Naidu’s call for protest a ‘flop show’

Visakhapatnam: Reiterating that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has a clear vision for developing all regions of the state equally, Minister for Municipal Administration, Botsa Satyanarayana said that people from all 13 districts have welcomed the three-capital initiative while TDPs chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s call for protest against the plan has turned out to be a flop show.

Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, the minister slammed Naidu for protests in the name of Amaravati and how ‘the lack of response showed that it was a flop show’.

Naidu had used Amaravati for insider trading and is now using the same Amaravati for protests with his paid artistes to safeguard the wealth amassed by him and his coterie, he said.

Fearing investigation and arrests, the TDP leaders had approached courts for stay warrants which proved their involvement in the Amaravati land scam, he added.

The SIT investigation into the Visakhapatnam land scam would be completed soon, he said and added that the state government is ready to face any kind of inquiry. “In the YSRCP government, there is no scope for corruption and the governance is clean and transparent,” he added.

On Mansas Trust issue, he said that is a private matter of that family and the state government has nothing to do with it. He flayed Ashok Gajapathi Raju over his false propaganda against the government. The minister stated that Jagan is bringing in medical colleges and super-specialty hospitals in the region to provide medical services to the interior tribal population, but the TDP leader, who had served as an aviation minister, failed in even establishing Bhogapuram Airport by rejecting the tender of the Airports Authority of India. The government is focused on Visakhapatnam Metro project and DPR is being prepared, he said.
