CBI books 17 persons for illegal lime stone mining in Guntur of Andhra
By Newsmeter Network Published on 28 Aug 2020 10:53 AM GMTVijayawada: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has booked a case against 17 persons for illegal mining, quarrying and transportation of lime stone from Konanki village of Piduguralla mandal and Nadkudi village of Dachepali located in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh.
The CBI was acting upon an FIR registered by Guntur Police on illegal mining/quarrying and transportation of limestone in both the above mention villages.
The CBI booked 17 accused, they include Alapathi Nageshwar Rao, Neerumala Srinivas Rao, Nandyala Nagaraju, Varta Prakash,Orsu Prakash, Gude Venkata Siva Koteshwara Rao,Rajeti Jacob, T. Seetha Ramanjaneyulu, G Ajay Kumar, T. Narayana Sarma, M. Anji Babu, B Narasimha Rao, Iria Venkata Rao, Venumla Yedukondalu, Orsu Venkateshwara Rao, Vemula Srinivasa Rao and Nelluri Srinivasa Rao.
The CBI registered a case under 379, 386, 420, 447 under IPC and 3 of prevention of Damage to public property Act.
