CBI to probe YS Vivekananda Reddy alleged murder case

Vijayawada : Andhra Pradesh High Court has directed the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to further probe into the alleged murder of late Y S Vivekananda Reddy, uncle to AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
The HC bench was hearing a petition moved by daughter Dr Sunitha Narreddy, seeking CBI enquiry into the alleged murder case. She seems to be not quiet happy with the way the investigation was being carried out by AP government headed by her first cousin and Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Earlier, interim applications were moved by wife YS Sowbhagya. Besides her, TDP leader Marreddy Ravindranath Reddy alias BTech Ravi, moved the High court. He pleaded the court to issue directions to hand over the murder case to CBI or any other independent agency which is not working under the direct supervision of state government and AP police.
The former MP was found dead in a washroom with severe head injuries days before the AP government went to polls. The forensic reports have confirmed that it was a murder and the cross examination found stab injuries on his body.
Allegation made by Dr Suneetha Narreddy.
Daughter of late Y S Vivekananda Reddy, Dr. Suneetha Narreddy has pointed out suspicion in the investigation carried out by the AP police with regard to the murder of her father.
Pointing out fingers at suspect Kasunur Parameshwar Reddy , she said , “ He complained of Chest pain and got admitted in hospital at Kadapa on 14th March 2019. However all test were normal and the man was on the phone most of the day. Later, he gets himself discharged against medical advice that came around 5.30 pm . He (suspect ) meets TDP workers at Haritha hotel.
Parameshwar Reddy then insists for readmission in the same hospital on the same day. This apart , those visiting him show him something displayed on the phone . Parameshwar Reddy then argues with the staff and leave the hospital on 14th march. The regional Circle inspector is known of the case, but the fact is being hidden. she adds.
According to Dr. Suneetha Narreddy, late Y S Vivekananda Reddy has been extensively working in Support for YSRC MP Y. S Avinash Reddy and for Y. S Jagan.
The daughter has accused the role of Adinarayana Reddy’s of being behind the murder, “He (Adinarayana Reddy) knows the track record of Parameshwar Reddy. He hatches a plan to remove his biggest obstacle( that is my father ).
