Hyderabad: The Central Board of Secondary Education has announced the results for class 12th students, evaluating students on its revised assessment scheme.

The declaration of board exam results was announced by Human Resources & Development Minister Nishank Pokhriyal on his official Twitter account at 12.30 PM today.

The results prepared by the board this year were done under CBSE's revised evaluation scheme since several exams were canceled because of the coronavirus pandemic. CBSE exams, that were originally scheduled to be conducted from 19.03.2020 to 30.03.2020 in 12 subjects. However, they were postponed to be conducted between 1st to 15th July after the pandemic hit.

Looking at the dire situation, however, the Supreme Court of India on June 26th gave the orders for students to be evaluated on a revised assessment scheme.

In the revised scheme, for the canceled papers, students were given an average score based on their performance in the other subject papers.

CBSE has also said that it will be conducting optional improvement papers as and when the situation allows.
