Tollywood celebs storm twitter with Save Nallamala campaign

Hyderabad: Celebrity voices against uranium mining in the Nallamala forest area are creating a deep impact. With superstars like Pawan Kalyan aiding the cause, the campaign has gained momentum. Vijay Deverakonda, who wrote a big post regarding the same, made some valid points.

Pawan Kalyan who earlier raised his voice against Nallamala's Uranium mining wrote, "#SaveNallamala Earth doesn’t belong to man, man belongs to Earth. — In 1852, the United States Government inquired about buying the tribal lands for the arriving people of the United States, & Chief Seattle wrote a marvellous letter in reply".









Vijay Deverakonda who took to his social media to address the same issue urges to stop Uranium mining in the forests. "If Uranium is needed, it must be bought. Once the forests are gone, can we get it all back?" the youngster questions.

Actress Anasuya Bharadwaj took to her Twitter to join hands with celebrities who are supporting 'Save Nallamala' campaign. "So.. what exactly are we up to?? Development????? Evolution????? Em udhariddaamani???? Like we are the biggest fools!!!! Please !!!!! Let's slap ourselves for once and wake up!!!!", Anasuya wrote.

Actor Varun Tej wrote, "Be kind to everything that lives! #SaveNallamala". After celebrities began the online campaigns, awareness regarding the issue begun spreading. The hashtags #StopUraniumMining and #SaveNallamala is now trending on social media.
