Central Cabinet decided to establish 75 new medical colleges

Hyderabad: The Central Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has decided to establish 75 new medical colleges across the country. It’s going to allot Rs.24,734 crores for setting up the further colleges.

‘There is an increase of 15700 seats in MBBS and PG seats. This a breakthrough in the medical and health sector in India’ said central Minister Prakash Javadekar.

It is also decided in the cabinet meeting that the export of 60 thousand tonnes of sugar will get a subsidy, amounting to Rs.6268 crores. The sugar farmers will get the amount directly into their banks through cash transfer.
