Chanakya trailer screams intensity

Hyderabad: The theatrical trailer of upcoming spy thriller of Gopichand's Chanakya was released by its makers on Thursday. The two-minute trailer is laced with high-octane action sequences and gripping plot lines. Gopichand plays the role of a RAW agent named Arjun Srikar who takes up an undercover operation in the disguise of a banker named Ramakrishna. The story immediately shifts to the dreaded gangster of the underworld, Sohail. How the forces are employed to capture Sohail from his native city of Karachi? and why a senior cop orders his men to shoot Arjun on sight, is what the story deals with.

Mehreen Pirzada is Gopichand's love interest in the movie while Zareen Khan is the other leading lady. It is being produced under the AK Entertainments banner. Bollywood actors Rajesh Khattar and Upen Patel are playing the roles of the antagonists. The film recently wrapped up its shoot for a romantic number, choreographed by Raju Sundaram, in Italy. Directed by Thiru, the movie is being bankrolled by Ak Entertainments while Vishal Chandrasekhar is rendering the music.

The movie is all set to lock horns with historical film Sye Raa which is also releasing on the same date.
