Chaotic Kukatpally gets Y-junction; Major relief to commuters

Hyderabad: Cyberabad Traffic Police opened the Kukatpally Y-junction with signals today evening for public use. The junction was closed for HMRL works, and traffic was made to take a U-turn from the main road. Due to continuous and heavy traffic throughout the day and conflicts created by the turning traffic, it used to be chaos near the U-turns. The turn also led to a lot of undisciplined driving and road accidents.
This signalised junction will now help commuters from Balanagar side to easily cross the road towards Kukatpally and from Moosapet towards Balanagar without the scare of heavy vehicles. Cyberabad Traffic officials requested the public to obey traffic rules at the junction and help police better manage traffic.

Cyberabad Traffic officials from Kukatpally and Balanagar, officials from Bharat Electronics Limited, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, and Hyderabad Road Development Corporation Limited, were present during the opening.
