Chopper with three on board makes emergency landing in Anantapur

Anantapur: A private chopper made an emergency landing after it developed technical snag at Eridikera village under Brahmasamudram Mandal in Anantapur district on Monday morning.

Three persons, including the pilot were on board when the incident occurred. Luckily, there was no casualty or injuries to anyone.

Sources said the chopper had taken off from Bellari and was on way to Mysore in Karnataka when it developed snag. Two officers of Jindal Company and pilot were on board.

Sources said the pilot noticed the snag after 15 minutes of take-off and immediately decided to make an emergency landing in the agriculture field on the outskirts of Eridikera village.

Sources said that the pilot later tried to take off again but he was not successful. Later he informed the higher ups and sought technical help to fly the chopper again.
