Class 10 student ends life over harassment from stalker

Bhuvanagiri: Unable to bear harassment from an alleged stalker, a class 10 student committed suicide at Bhongir district on Friday. The girl identified as Bhavani was found hanging in her home.
Bhavani, a resident of Sansthan Narayanpur in Bhongir district was studying in the Government high school. For the past few days, a youngster from their same village kept harassing her and forcing her to accept his proposal for love and marriage. However, the girl refused and tried avoiding him.
Although she had reprimanded him multiple times, to stay away from her, he continued following her.
Unable to handle the harassment, the girl committed suicide. Police registered a case and have begun the search for the girl's stalker.
