Amaravathi : Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has directed officials of the education department to prepare a calendar of slots that need to be filled for teacher vacancies in the government schools. Reviewing the education department, with the help of consultants at his camp office, the CM said that the strength of the teachers’ should be proportionate to the number of students.
The introduction of this new change will hope to be a big relief to candidates who have waited for teacher vacancy notifications for a long time. Many state run schools have the same teacher taking most of the classes. The department of education official in-charge passed on the information to the Chief Minister.
Mr Jagan has issued an order to the officials for undertaking a facelift of the schools and to keep the schools updated with all the facilities needed by the students.
Speaking to media persons, education minister A. Suresh said, “Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy has also issued an order, to share the development of schools on a public platform. More than 15,000 schools will be chosen for the proposed face-lift works. We have collected photos and videos of 42,655 schools so far. About 10.88 lakh photos were uploaded and as per instruction, we will do a comparative analysis of the chosen schools post development.”
