Condolences pour in for former AP speaker

Hyderabad: Senior Leaders and Political parties in both the Telugu states have expressed shock and grief over the sudden demise of former Andhra Pradesh Speaker Kodela Siva Prasad Rao.

Andhra Pradesh governor Biswa Bhusan Harichandan expressed grief over the untimely demise of Former AP Legislative Assembly Speaker. The Governor said, “Siva Prasad Rao was elected to the Assembly six times as an MLA and served the people with dedication. His services as Speaker of the AP Legislative Assembly will always be remembered.” The Governor conveyed his sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.

Telangana CM Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao expressed shock on the demise of the former speaker. Mr Roa conveyed his condolences to the family and prayed for his soul to rest in peace.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family members. “Siva Prasad Rao had long political innings since 1983 and was a popular doctor. May his soul rest in peace.”

TD MP K. Ram Mohan Naidu tweeted, “Shocked and devastated to know that Dr Kodela Siva Prasad garu is no more. May his soul rest in peace.”
