Hyderabad: Congress leader Dr. N. Raghuveera Reddy has threatened to expose and nail all those behind social media posts whereby it was mentioned that he was to join YSRCP.

Speaking to media in his native Neelakanthapuram, Dr Reddy urged police to file criminal cases against all those responsible for maligning his image and by spreading false news.

“I have been clarifying for the past seven to eight years against any moves to join YSRCP, TDP or BJP. I hope police will arrest the mischief mongers,” he said.

It may be noted that he had resigned as PCC President of Andhra Pradesh on May 19, last year. He clarified that he had sent resignation letter even before the poll results. He reiterated that he would remain in Congress. Dr Shailajanath has recently been appointed as the PCC Chief.

In fact, for the last two days rumours were doing rounds that he would be meeting YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, at his camp office, on Tuesday. However, Raghuveera has been busy with the construction of a Lord Hanuman temple at his native village.

Meanwhile, the former PCC Chief clarified that he would not campaign for any individual or any party in the ensuing local body elections.
