Cop kiss lands Hyderabad youth in trouble

A Bonalu reveler in a fit of joy hugs and kisses a police sub-inspector in Hyderabad only to get booked and slapped by police in return. A case has been registered against 28-year-old bank employee Poudel Bhanu for obstructing a Sub-inspector from discharging his duty.
Bhanu has been captured in a video where he has seen forcibly kissing police officer during Bonalu festival celebrations in Vidyanagar in Nallakunta area. A video that shows a group of men dancing during Bonalu celebrations, has gone viral on social media.
Following which the Nallakunta Sub-Inspector K Mahender filed the complaint alleging that 28-year-old Poudel Bhanu, a bank employee, had obstructed him from discharging his duty.
The video shows that while SI Mahender was passing from the spot, Bhanu grabs hold of the policeman and hugs and plants a kiss on his face. The policeman reacts by slapping the man, who stumbles back and continues dancing.
A written complain by SI K Mahender reads, "About 10:30pm while the procession was passing at Durgamatha temple, beside Railway reservation counter in the meantime one person who was dancing in the procession suddenly approached me and hugged by obstructing my legitimate duties. Apart from this he also forcibly pushed me back. Later, on enquiry, I came to know his name as Poudel Bhanu".
Bhanu is booked under IPC 353 (Obstruction of public servant from doing duty). Poudel Bhanu has been identified as a resident of Mogularajpuram in Vijayawada. He has since been detained by the Nallakunta police.
