Hyderabad: Amidst the rising number of Corona-positive cases in the state, the government received some good news on 1 April after 10 people among the 77 who tested positive in Telangana tested negative in subsequent tests. Meanwhile, two others will be discharged on 1 April.
Earlier, 14 people had been discharged from the hospital after they tested negative multiple times. Fifteen new cases were reported in Telangana on Tuesday. All of them were people who had attended the Nizamuddin Markaz for religions prayers in Delhi and their relatives. Six people who had attended the religious congregation in Delhi have died.
Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has repeatedly requested people to stay indoors and follow the lockdown orders. He also said all of us will get through this crisis together and by doing our bit. Telangana is ready to treat as many patients as possible and no one needs to worry, KCR assured the people, while also warning them to refrain from spreading fake news. Anyone found doing so will be punished, he has said.
