Vizianagaram: A woman police constable is winning hearts after she fed an 80-year-old COVID positive woman in a hospital ward despite being herself ill at Vizianagaram.

D Radhika, working at Two Town police station in Vizianagaram town was at the forefront of creating awareness about the precautions to be taken to prevent the infection.

By working long hours, Radhika herself got infected. Senior police officials admitted her to Maharaja Institute of Medical Sciences (MIMS) at Vizianagaram.

While undergoing treatment, Radhika found that an 86-year-old woman from Vizianagaram was unable to eat without being fed by others.

Radhika immediately decided to help her out. She started feeding her three times a day and helped her in doing daily chores.
