Did Trisha reject her Telugu comeback film for this reason?

Hyderabad: Post huge success of 96, a Prem Kumar directorial, actress Trisha Krishnan has become pretty popular and has started getting good offers once again. She fell in the eyes of many young filmmakers who have some good scripts ready for her. This has given her a chance of picking movies carefully.

In recent times, we have heard that the actress is in talks with director Koratala Siva for playing the leading lady in Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film which was launched officially, recently. Ram Charan Tej will also produce this film.

At the same time, reportedly, she has received a call from Mani Ratnam to play a key role in Ponniyan Selvan, which has some big names from the Indian film industry. This project is getting bigger with each passing day. It has Chiyaan Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Keerthy Suresh, Amala Paul, Jayaram, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Mohan Babu and others.

But the actress hasn’t confirmed anything about her upcoming films. She hasn’t announced whether she is part of any of these films or not. But we have learnt that the actress has a tough time deciding which offer to accept. As she has issues with her call sheets, she will be able to afford dates to one of the two films. Reportedly, it is said that she chose to be part of Ponniyan Selvan. Besides this film, she has Mohanlal’s next with Jeetu Joseph.

Rumour mills even churned out that Trisha was never also approached to play the leading lady in Chiranjeevi’s film at all. Nayanthara, who paired up with him for Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is said to be considered once again to play the ladylove of Chiranjeevi.
