Disciplinary action against Seven Sub-Inspectors for watching Sye Raa during official hours

Amaravati: The Kurnool Superintendent of Police has taken disciplinary action against seven sub-inspectors for watching Sye Raa Narsimha Reddy on Wednesday. Reportedly, the officers of Kavalakuntla district went for the movie during working hours without taking permission from senior authorities.

District Superintendent of Police K Fakkeerappa took disciplinary action against all of them after this incident came to his notice. Besides, the DSP has also ordered the sub-divisional chiefs of Nandyal, Dhone and Allagadda to submit a report. Under the disciplinary action, the SP has ordered the sub-inspectors to be brought to headquarters for further investigation.

BT Subbayya, K Hari Prasad, K Jagadeeswara Reddy, P Ashok, G Pritam Reddy, B Srikanth Reddy, and Niranjan Reddy are the sub-inspectors who were caught watching the movie during duty hours. Disciplinary action will be taken against police officers negligent towards their duties, SP Fakkeerappa warned.

Megastar Chiranjeevi's 151st film Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy was released on Wednesday. Audiences at the pre-release event were excited to have Chiranjeevi in the town. The film was released in Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil and Kannada languages.

The film directed by Surender Reddy and produced by Ram Charan features Amitabh Bachchan, Vijay Sethupathi, Kichha Sudeep, Nayanthara, Tamannaah Bhatia and others in crucial roles.
