Hyderabad: Chairman DRDO Dr G. Satheesh Reddy’s daughter Singdha was robbed of her belongings while travelling on a train.

According to the railway police, the 25-year-old Singdha, a resident of Pandara road- Delhi she was travelling in Kerala express from Gwalior to NDLS.

At about 4 PM on 12th of December, two unknown people snatched her purse containing one gold set with an earring, one diamond ring, diamond pendant, two long earring, two gold bangle, ATM card and other documents. The duo jumped off the running train near Delhi Zoo.

Following a complaint filed by Singdha, a case under section 356/379/34 was registered in PS-HNRS, and a team was constituted to nab the culprits.

Following a search operation and information gathered through Human intelligence, the police caught Pawan Sharma from Mathura. The Cops recovered the article of worth Rs 10 lakh.

While the co-accused Nand Kishore managed to escape.

Criminal history showed that the two had been habitual offenders. The duo was earlier booked under various crimes committed in Delhi and Agra. Both accused were residing in a rented house in Sarai Kale khan area where they hatch plans to rob travellers of their belongings.
