Hyderabad: Actor Karthikeya Gummakonda is on a signing spree and is on cloud nine for bagging some prospective projects into his kitty. The actor, who became popular with his debut film RX 100, recently announced that he would play the lead role in Chaavu Kaburu Challaga. Allu Aravind will bankroll the project under the banner of Geetha Arts, and Koushik Pegallapti will direct the film.

In an exclusive interview with NewsMeter, the actor revealed that teaming up with Geetha Arts has always been a dream for him. Karthikeya told that he had driven past Geetha Arts’ office much before he became an actor. “It was a different feeling, as I also knew that it was Allu Arjun’s office. Now, I feel I am at the top of the world, knowing that I had walked into their office because they had invited me,” the actor said, excited.

He added that a representative from the production house had called him and asked him to come down to the office as Allu Aravind wants to meet him for a story narration. “Walking into the office is a moment to cherish for a lifetime. I thank the whole team for giving me this opportunity to collaborate with such an esteemed banner,” Karthikeya added.

Talking about the script, Karthikeya said that Chaavu Kaburu Challaga is going to be an out and out entertainer.
