Hyderabad: With the Brahmaputra and eight other rivers flowing above danger levels, Assam and Bihar states are affected by these floods. These states are fighting against COVID-19 and floods at the same time. The flood situation is worsening day by day.

Bihar Congress Twitter account on 30 July 2020, posted an image of Amphan cyclone as Bihar floods along with a quote in Hindi when translated as "Nitish Kumar's good governance is floating in the water. They were elected to transform Muzaffarpur, Bhagalpur, Bihar Sharif, and Patna into smart cities, which are now water-logged due to rains."

Another picture was again shared by the INCBihar's Twitter account with a quote in Hindi when translated says "Bihar's life is plagued by floods. The floods have affected 24.42 lakh population of 11 districts of the state. The disaster management of the government is unsuccessful, the government is not able to arrange ration to the citizens of the state" said Bihar Congress.

Fact Check: The claim that the pictures are of Bihar floods is FALSE.

The number plate on the car shows West Bengal registration number. By using a reverse search image we found one image is of Amphan cyclone West Bengal May 2020 and another image was taken from the Shutterstock website.

Netizens immediately commented as this number plate is of West Bengal. A user posted a snapshot of the image that was shot on 21 May 2020 in Kolkata which is now used here as Bihar floods. Here is the archived link.

Hence, the claim that the images are of Bihar floods is False.
