Rahul adds that he has nothing to do with India whatsoever and that he can leave India whenever he pleases, as he has lots of money.

The 11-second-long video titled ‘Rahul Gandhi will settle in London with his family’ is in Hindi. This video was shared by Priti Gandhi, National In-charge of Social Media, BJP, on Twitter.

Many other users also shared it with more or less the same caption. Akali Dal MLA Manjinder S Sirsa tweeted the same video saying, “This is why people of India don’t like you.”

The 11-second-long version is a part of a longer video in which he could be seen talking about fugitive businessmen Mehul Choksi and Nirav Modi. The full video can be found on Indian National Congress’ YouTube page. The 18-minute-long video was posted on October 13, 2019.

Rahul Gandhi is seen talking about the problems of the Indian people. He was talking about Choksi and Nirav while giving his speech. “Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi sleep well without any fear. Nothing will happen.”

The part shared by twitteratis is taken out of context. Rahul is talking about how Choksi and Modi would settle in London and their “kids will get educated in the United States of America”. “I have nothing to do with India; I am friends with Narendra Modi. I can go any time; I have a lot of money,” Rahul goes on to say about Nirav and Choksi.
