Fact Check: Raj Thackeray's wife did not come in defence of Kangana Ranaut

Hyderabad: After the demolition of Kangna Ranaut's office by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), there is a fierce war between the Uddhav Thackeray government and the actress.
According to social media, Raj Thackeray's wife, Sharmila Raj Thackeray, came to the defence of the actress.
On Twitter, there is an alleged account of Sharmila Raj Thackeray named @RealShrmila. This account has about 35,000 followers. The tweet pinned at the top is, "Kangana is my daughter". It has got 44,200 likes and 6,100 retweets.
Fact Check:
Sharmila Raj Thackeray is not on any social media. The claim is FALSE.
Newsmeter found that the Twitter account named after Sharmila Raj Thackeray is fake. Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) Adhikrut has also filed a police complaint against them. And made a tweet about the same.
The gist of this complaint, which is in Hindi, is: "Some fake accounts of MNS chief Raj Thackeray, his wife Sharmila Raj Thackeray, son Amit Raj Thackeray and daughter Urvashi Raj Thackeray are running on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. We want to clarify that while Raj Thackeray has Facebook and Twitter accounts, Amit Raj Thackeray has only a Facebook account. Take strict action against those who run these fake accounts under the name of Urvashi Raj Thackeray and spread misconceptions and false information in the society through social media. "
It is clear that Sharmila Raj Thackeray is not present on Twitter, nor did she support Kangana. The accounts created on her name are fake.
Hence, the claim is FALSE.
