Fact Check: Video claiming eggs dumped due to Corona have hatched is false

A video of hundreds of chickens that allegedly hatched from eggs thrown in the dump due to Corona virus concerns is going viral on Twitter and Facebook.
Even Kiran Bedi, the Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry, shared the video and tweeted, "Eggs which were thrown as waste because of corona , after one week hatched. The creation of nature. (Fwded) Life has its own mysterious ways.. (sic)."
Many have shared the video with a similar claim.
It is also doing the rounds of Facebook.
Fact Check:
NewsMeter extracted keyframes from the video and performed a reverse image search on Google. We found a few similar videos on YouTube channels from Pakistan.
The viral video was first uploaded by a YouTube channel, Life with Sufura, on 29 March 2020. The title of the video is "Cutest baby chicks //surjani town karachi//viral video". The description states that rotten eggs were dumped on the roadside of Surjani town in Karachi. After a few days, the rotten eggs hatched due to heat.
We also found some Pakistani media's YouTube channels that had shared the same video.
Though this incident occurred recently, there is NO mention that the eggs were dumped over COVID-19 fears, nor is there any mention of Corona virus in any of the videos.
