Delhi: A woman journalist suffered injuries on her face, hand and leg after she was dragged out of a moving autorickshaw in Delhi by two bike-borne robbers. They managed to flee after snatching her mobile phone.

The incident occurred on Sunday near Delhi's Chittaranjan Park when Joymala Bagchi was travelling in an autorickshaw. She was dragged out with so much force that she suffered jaw fracture and received severe injuries on her head, hand and leg due to the fall. She also got stitches on her chin.

After falling on the road, the scribe was bleeding profusely as the locals came to her rescue. She was later taken to a nearby hospital after which she was transferred to All India Institute of Medical Sciences.
