First schedule of Keerthy Suresh’s Bollywood debut is wrapped

Keerthy Suresh wraps up Miss India and the first schedule of Ajay Devgn-starrer Maidaan

Hyderabad: Actress Keerthy Suresh has become quite busy with various films in different languages. She recently wrapped up Miss India, directed by debutant Narendranath, and the film is expected to release next year. Mahesh S Koneru bankrolls the movie under East Coast Productions. After wrapping up the movie, Keerthy joined the sets of Rang De, which has Nithiin as the male lead and is directed by Venky Alluri of Tholi Prema and Mr Majnu fame.

Well, it is known that the actress is making her Bollywood debut with Ajay Devgn-starrer Maidaan. This film is about the golden period of Indian football and Ajay will be seen playing Syed Abdul Rahim, a famous coach. Keerthy will play the leading lady.

The crew has been shooting for the first schedule in Mumbai for some time. According to the latest reports, the first schedule has been wrapped up and the second schedule is expected to begin later this month in Mumbai. Maidaan, scheduled to release in 2020, also stars Gajraj Rao.

Zee Studios and Boney Kapoor present the film and is directed by Amit Ravinder Nath Sharma of the National Award-winning Badhai Ho-fame. Maidaan is produced by Boney, Akash Chawla and Arunava Joy Sengupta, with screenplay and dialogues written by Saiwyn Quadros and Ritesh Shah respectively.
