Former PM Manmohan Singh files nomination for RajyaSabha in Jaipur
By Newsmeter Network Published on 13 Aug 2019 9:22 AM GMTHyderabad: Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh filed nomination for Rajyasabha seat from Rajasthan as Congress candidate in Jaipur on Tuesday. Manmohan Singh filed nomination for the seat which fell vacant after the death of state BJP president Madan Lal.
He was received at the airport by Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Deputy CM Sachin Pilot on Tuesday morning.

Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister and state Congress president Sachin Pilot tweeted, "The party has decided to nominate former PM Manmohan Singh from Rajasthan for Rajyasabha seat. I heartly congratulate you on behalf of the state,"
