Gachibowli gets a new Childrens park

Hyderabad: GHMC West Zone Commissioner Hari Chandana will inaugurate the GHMC Children’s Park on November 23, at Jayabheri enclave in Gachibowli. The park’s play area is a unique offering of fun, play and adventure for children along with safety precautions spread over 7,000 sq ft. It will also attract visitors for its unique structured and unstructured play.

Children will find it a perfect avenue for games like hide and seek, climbing and scaling mounds, tunnelling, hopping, sliding, balancing and more. The park offers seamless integration of grass and EPDM (a synthetic rubber that prevents injuries for kids from falls and injuries) that mimics natural environments for games.

The play area facilitates children to push their physical abilities in a relatively safe area. Some features include mounds of various types catering to different age groups. It includes hill mounds (big and small), tunnel mounds, pyramid mounds that doubles up as haystack, plate mounds, snake mound and bug mound.

It also has a photo frame and a selfie stand to cherish the child’s every visit with seamless EPDM and turfed area to give plush comfort.

The play equipment includes twirly climber, monkey bars, balancing stones, stepping stones, spring riders, merry go around, and more. It also consists of a first of its kind in-ground trampoline and a turfed tunnel that provides a nook for kids to tuck in. Apart from playing, the park also offers wholesome opportunities in the form of life-size fibre vegetables/fruits that promote natural food, alphabets, numbers, Oceanic life, etc.

The park also provides an outdoor gymnasium with equipment for cardio, upper and lower body workouts. Meanwhile, the Children’s playground also sports solar LED lights that provide lighting for six hours.
