Towards this, the Medical and Health Department has selected Gandhi Hospital and Fever Hospital as nodal centres.

The Department has set up exclusive beds and wards for patients suffering from symptoms of Carona virus.

Recently a patient with Coronavirus symptoms admitted into Fever Hospital and this created concerns among the doctors and officials. However, after the thorough diagnosis and tests, the Fever Hospital identified that it was not due to the Coronavirus. A medicine student, resident of Begumpet, came to Hyderabad from China and consulted doctors at Fever Hospital.

“Initially, doctors suspected that the medical student was suffering from Carona virus and treated him in a special ward.
