Girl killed by a Facebook friend

Telangana: A tenth class girl Harshini, 15, was found dead on Thursday morning after she went missing for three days by Mahaboobnagar’s Jadcharla police.
The girl’s father, Ravishankar, at 10 am on Tuesday, filed a petition in the police station stating that his daughter was missing. “We registered it as a kidnapping case. We traced the accused with the help of CCTV footage and with help from the locals. The accused was identified as Enugula Naveen Reddy, 27, and was taken into custody. After investigating him we found the dead body near Jadcharla,” said Adi Reddy, Incharge police of Jadcharla police station.
“The accused agreed that he killed the girl at the spot where her dead body was found. The reason for killing her is only to be known after a police investigation,” said Police.
