Gopichand walks the ‘tightrope’ again

Hyderabad: For a while now, Actor Gopichand has been deprived of a hit. He was last seen in ‘Pantham’, which released last year. After that, he will now be seen in ‘Chanakya’ which is set for release on Dasara, October 8.

‘Chanakya’ is directed by Tamil director Thiru. It is Thiru’s debut film in Telugu. The film is being produced by AK Entertainments. Mehreen Pirzada is the leading lady in the film.

The makers of this film are taking a big risk by releasing the film on October 5. The risk is high as megastar Chiranjeevi’s ‘Sye Raa’, is releasing on October 2. ‘Sye Raa’ is a pan-India film. With this film, actor Chiranjeevi is making a comeback after two years. Promotional activities will begin soon.

As the release of ‘Sye Raa’ is awaited, releasing ‘Chanakya’ on October 5, a week later will test Gopichand’s career again. Experts opine, “Taking some more time to release the film might be of some help for Gopichand, as well as the makers.”

We have to wait and see if the film fraternity suggests the makers shift their dates.
