Hyderabad: A biker was killed on Thursday night in a hit and run accident at Shamshabad, on the Hyderabad Bengaluru national highway. The biker was identified as Chand Pasha from Nagar Kurnool district.

Pasha was returning home from Shamshabad on the city outskirts. When he reached Tondupally area, an unknown vehicle hit his bike from the rear and sped away. As it was late in the night, eyewitnesses were not able to take notice of the speeding vehicle or note down its registration number.

Police and ambulance rushed to the spot but Pasha had sustained severe injuries and died on the spot.

The incident led to a traffic jam on the busy highway. However, it was regularized after the body and damaged bike were shifted from the spot.
