Home guard injured in traffic duty

Hyderabad: An on-duty home guard working with Hyderabad police Commissionerate’s Traffic police wing was injured in an accident at Siddiamber Bazar in the city. Saida Naik deputed to Goshamahal Traffic police station, suffered a fracture on his left leg.

According to traffic police, Saida Naik was deployed to regulate traffic at Siddiamber Bazar Mosque on Thursday. At 12.45 pm, while he was monitoring traffic, a reckless autorickshaw hit him from behind. Saida was immediately shifted to Osmania General Hospital for first aid, and medical officers diagnosed a fracture to his left ankle. He was moved to Arogya Hospital for better treatment. Furthermore, a case was also registered against the driver of the yet-unknown autorickshaw.
