Hyderabad: A major mishap was averted, and about 10 passengers on board a Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) bus, had a narrow escape. The incident took place in Hyderabad on Monday morning. A TSRTC bus that was heading towards Koti from Patancheru suddenly went out of control and rammed into roadside shops at Punjagutta.

After the bus crossed the Ameerpet junction, the driver lost control of the vehicle. The bus created panic among other commuters on the road. The bus driver rammed the bus into some closed shops on the roadside and it halted.

Passengers on board the bus escaped unhurt in the incident. They were shifted to another bus and sent to their destination. As the shops were closed, a major mishap was averted.

The incident created a traffic jam on the busy stretch for some time. But, normalcy was restored after the vehicle was shifted from the spot.
