Hyderabad man gets 3 years jail for outraging the modesty of minor

Hyderabad: A 25 year-old has been sentenced to 3 years of punishment for outraging the modesty of a minor girl.
The case dates back to 2017, the accused Dara Srikanth was booked for abusing a minor girl and her mother. According to the complainant he initially followed her for three days and 1st of February he barged into her house in a drunken state.
‘Dara Srikanth abused the girl and her mother, he also pulled her left hand and threatened her to marry him. Based on a complaint a case was registered at Yacharam PS’ cops said.
The accused was arrested and remanded to judicial custody . Three years later on 14th of September the IX ADJ Court at LB.Nagar convicted the accused Dara.Srikanth to undergo 3 years rigorous Imprisonment and Imposed fine of Rs 2000.
