Hyderabad man rapes minor for 10 days, gives her Rs 100 to keep silent

Hyderabad: Panjagutta police on Wednesday arrested a man accused of raping a minor girl within 24 hours of registering an FIR. According to the victim’s mother, who filed the complaint, the accused has repeatedly been raping her 13-year-old daughter for the past 10 days.

The victim had been selling milk at the man’s house since January this year. After 15 days when the girl asked him to pay the money for the milk the accused asked her to come inside the house. It was afternoon and his wife and children were not at home. Taking advantage of the situation he raped the minor girl. According to the complainant, the accused continued to rape her for over 10 days. He blackmailed the victim and gave her Rs 100 and Rs 200 to keep silent.

However, on the night of January 28, the girl told her mother who immediately registered a complaint with the Panjagutta police. Following the complaint, a special team was formed to investigate the case. The team arrested the accused within 15 hours of filing the FIR.
