Hyderabad Metro: Record Footfall of 3.2 lakh on August 14

Good news for people living in Jubilee Hills. The Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) will soon ply trains between Jubilee Hills check post and Hitech city once the mandatory safety clearances are obtained.

Meanwhile on Wednesday HMRL recorded 3.23 lakh footfall on Wednesday. HMRL managing director N.V.S Reddy said, “Hyderabad Metro created a new record with 3.06 lakh passengers travelling by metro trains and metro stations experiencing 3.23 lakh footfalls.”

Moreover, keeping in mind the flow of public to and from Hitech city metro station more trains will be introduced and the frequency will be increased to five minutes or even three minutes during peak hours if required to and from Hitech city station in all directions, he added.

Trial runs between Hitech city and Raidurga (Mindspace Junction) will start soon.

With the entry of 23, 607 passengers Hitech city metro station recorded the highest number of passenger.
