Hyderabad: School bus mows down college student

Hyderabad: A 22-year-old degree student was run over by a speeding van belonging to a private school at Alwal of Cyberabad commissionerate in the city on Tuesday. The victim was identified as G Joseph Kumar.

According to police, Joseph Kumar from the Kamareddy district was pursuing his degree at Loyola Academy in Alwal and residing in Manjira colony. On Tuesday after college, while returning home on his bike, a speeding van belonging to SR Digi School hit him. Joseph sustained severe injuries and died on the spot. A case is registered against the van driver and the van was seized. Further investigations are underway.
