Hyderabad: Teenager along with two friends arrested for sexual harassment

Hyderabad: A teenager and his two friends, who allegedly sexually harassed a woman at Ankushapur village of Ghatkesar on the city outskirts, were arrested by the Cybercrime wing of Rachakonda police on Tuesday. The accused posted obscene pictures of the woman on social media platforms said police. The accused are Vannala Rakesh (19), Chinthakindi Mahesh (23) and Mohd. Ghouse (21), all belonging to the same village.
According to police, Rakesh had proposed marriage to the victim but was rejected by the woman. Angered by this, he accessed her Facebook account, as he already knew her user id and password. He then downloaded nude pictures from the internet, obtained phone numbers of the victim and her parents and posted the morphed pictures on her Facebook page along with their phone numbers. His friends helped him in the process.
When the woman was made aware of this, she approached the police and a case was registered.
Based on technical evidence, the trio was arrested and their mobile phones seized.
