Telangana: 17 seats from Telangana went to polls on May 13, 2024 with a voter turnout recorded at 66.3 percent. The counting of votes begins at 8 AM on Tuesday.
Four parties are in the poll fray, Bharatiya Janta Party, Indian National Congress, Bharat Rashtra Samithi and All India Majlis -E-Ittehadul Muslimeen.
The stakes are high as minister for culture and tourism and development of North East region G Kishan Reddy is contesting from Secunderabad, Asaduddin Owaisi president of AIMIM is seeking his 5th term from Hyderabad.

Postal ballot counting has begun. Fate of several leaders, including Union Minister and Telangana BJP chief Kishan Reddy, the party's general secretary Bandi Sanjay Kumar, senior leader Etala Rajender, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi and his BJP rival K Madhavi Latha are expected to be known by the evening.
