I-T sleuths tighten noose around Naidu, son Lokesh’s followers

Hyderabad: Income Tax investigation sleuths from Delhi conducted searches at the residence of P. Srinivas Rao, the former personal secretary of former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, and several Telugu Desam leaders in Hyderabad, Vijayawada, and Kadapa.

Mr Rao was Mr Naidu's personal secretary until the 2019 elections. On February 6, I-T sleuths knocked the doors of Mr Srinivas's residence in Vijayawada at around 4.00 am.

I-T raids against Nara Lokesh's classmate and close aide Kilaru Rajesh

The investigating officials also conducted searches at the residence of Kilaru Rajesh Rao, classmate and close friend of N Chandrababu Naidu's son Nara Lokesh.

The residence of Kadapa district TDP president Reddappagari Srinivasa Reddy was also searched by the Income Tax officials. The TDP leader's family owns R.K Infracorp Private Limited which has executed several irrigation and roadways project in Andhra Pradesh.
