Indian Bank's alarm bell triggered due to lose connection

Police teams with armed personnel and bank personnel rushed to the bank. The bank was opened and police teams entered suspecting a robbery. Tense moments followed as police searched the bank for any suspicious persons, while the bank staff waited outside.
Minutes later police confirmed there was no forced entry into the bank and neither was anyone present.
The bank's technical team checked the connections and found a loose contact in the supply to the emergency alarm. The issue was rectified.
Police suggested the bank staff get the cable systems in the bank regularly checked.
