Is Eesha Rebba in the Telugu remake of Netflix’s Lust Stories?

Hyderabad: Are you a fan of Netflix, Lust Stories and Eesha Rebba? Then something big, a combination of all three of these big names, is on its way. The official Telugu remake of Lust Stories has been making a headline for the past few days, especially since the project went to floors sometime back.

The original version of Lust Stories is an anthology of four short stories directed by Karan Johar, Dibakar Banerjee, Zoya Akthar, and Anurag Kashyap. The movie became a big hit among Indian as well as international viewers. The original project features a stellar cast including Radhika Apte, Manisha Koirala, Bhumi Pednekar, Sanjay Kapoor, Kiara Advani, Neha Dhupia, Vicky Kaushal and others.

As per the latest report, Tollywood actress Eesha Rebba has been roped in to play the leading lady in one of the short stories, reportedly directed by Sankalp Reddy of Ghazi fame. A photograph of Eesha Rebba from the movie sets has been doing rounds, and the actress is seen hiding half of her face with the clapboard. However, her ardent fans identified her thanks to a tattoo on her hand, and they are excited for her. Details regarding the particular project she is a part of, and her character is yet to be made public.

Besides, other reports indicate that Amala Paul is also part of this web series and she has teamed up with director Nandini Reddy for one of the stories. According to prior information, Sandeep Reddy Vanga of Arjun Reddy fame and Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi director Tharun Bhascker are going to direct the other two movies. However, Sandeep Vanga, who is basking in the success of Kabir Singh, had mentioned that he walked out of the project as he was someone “who was uncomfortable with lust”.

Famous Bollywood producer Ronnie Screwvala will bankroll the Telugu remake of the Netflix anthology.
