Hyderabad: Hyderabad Football Club (HFC), the latest entrant into the Indian Super League, unveiled its official logo at an event titled ‘Reliving Hyderabad’s Football Legacy’ here on Saturday. The emblem of Hyderabad FC displays the city’s heritage monument, Charminar, and the texture of the Kohinoor diamond.

Speaking on occasion, Varun Tripuneni, co-owner of the club said, “Hyderabad dominated the football scene in India and internationally, including making it to the Olympics! We are confident that Hyderabad FC will receive a fantastic response and the city will be buzzing with the spirit.”

He added that the city’s history inspired the logo. They now hope that HFC will significantly boost the sport in the region.

Bhartendu Sharma
