It is Tollywood actor Mumaith Khan versus cab driver in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Tollywood star Mumaith Khan has lodged a police complaint against a cab driver after the latter alleged that the actor did not pay him full fare for a trip to Goa.

The actor stated that she had paid the driver, but he has been allegedly spreading fake news. She has sought action against the driver and social media platforms for spreading alleged fake news.

Earlier cab driver Raju had claimed that Mumaith had booked his vehicle for a trip to Goa. He said without prior information, she extended the trip. He also alleged that she did not pay for his accommodation during the extended stay. He said she did not even pay full fare.

Raju’s claims became viral on social media. Mumaith said for the past two days, there were several reports that she did not pay the driver, which are all false.

“I am here to complain about the false propaganda against me. I have cleared the payment completely and I have the proofs also for the same,” she stated.

Along with the complaint, she also submitted some documents to the police at Punjagutta. Police have started an inquiry into her complaint.
