IT searches properties of Tollywood producer D. Suresh

Hyderabad: Income Tax sleuths from the Anti - Tax evasion investigation unit are carrying out searches against properties owned by famous Tollywood Producer D Suresh.

IT searches are underway at the famous Ramanidu studio, besides the residence and other properties located in Hyderabad.

According to sources, the anti-tax evasion investigating wing is suspecting possible tax evasion, in the movie distribution business of the production house.

The searches have come before the production house's next movie 'Venky mama' release. The movie starring famous actor Venkatesh and his Nephew in real-life Naga Chaitanya is scheduled to hit the screens in December.

Over the last ten years, movie productions by Ramanaidu studio have reduced as the company is involved more into movie distribution and acquiring satellite rights.
