IT sleuths raid TDP MLA Sugunamma's son-in-law's construction site

Tirupati: The Income Tax sleuths, on 25 February, conducted raids at a construction site related to TDP MLA Sugunamma's son-in-law Sanjay.
The offices located on the construction site was also searched. The site was being developed by Sri Venkateshwara Construction company. The managing director of the company, Mr G. Ananda Rao, is being investigated.
Meanwhile, I-T sleuths also conducted raids on some doctors and private hospital owners who have not been paying taxes. The Vijaya super specialty hospital in Vijayawada was raided by I-T officials and all documents related to Arogyashri were checked. The officials said that hospital authorities are showing crores of rupees as their income while filing returns but are showing less while paying taxes.
Since Tuesday morning, over 10 I-T officials conducted searches in the hospital without inconveniencing the patients.
