Hyderabad: The wait for actor Prabhas’ upcoming film has been quite anticipatory. While he soared to new heights with Baahubali, Saaho didn’t do enough to satiate the cine-goers desire to see the actor on screen.

However, with his next film in progress for a while now, there is a big reason for excitement and celebration. After a long period of silence, the makers finally gave us a sneak peek into the film on Friday when an image of Prabhas from the sets of the film was released. It is unclear if it is a working still or one from the film itself but surely, fans have lapped it up and are keen for more updates.

But the interesting part is that the team has not released the film’s title. So far, everyone has been referring to the film as Jaan and it was expected that a confirmation on the same will come as part of the much-awaited update on Friday. However, the makers have been calling it #Prabhas20 even now.

A leading Telugu news website has confirmed, through a source from the film’s unit, that the film is not titled Jaan. This does come as a bit of a shock for many since this title has been floating around for months now.

Directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, who had helmed Jill starring Gopinchand and Raashi Khanna, the upcoming flick is produced by UV Creations and is being filmed in Hindi and Telugu. Pooja Hegde plays the female lead in the film that is a romance drama set in a bygone era. There was a buzz that the film is set in the Europe of 1980s and that the makers had set up elaborate sets for the same in Ramoji Film City on the outskirts of Hyderabad.
