Coronavirus: Jagan puts AP officials on alert, plans measures to fight deadly virus

Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has ordered all officials to be prepared to tackle of situation regarding the outbreak of Corona virus in the state. So far, no Coronavirus case has been reported in Andhra. Jagan urged officials to create awareness amongst people about the deadly virus and said doctors should be well-educated about the virus.

As the virus is now spreading to different states, he has asked officials to review the situation. He also instructed the officials about action to be taken by the state after the virus reached neighboring Telangana. He instructed the officials to be alert and ready to deal with any kind of situation. He has also said that necessary actions should be taken to ensure special wards in district hospitals are ready for the treatment of patients.

The staff of medical departments must be educated about the virus and what is to be done. Jagan said, adding people should be made aware of the spreading virus. He also said that officials must be ready from now and not wait for the virus to affect anyone in the state. Keep masks and gloves ready in order to stay safe, he told them.
